Background:

Christian had his first skis on his feet at the age of two and with both his Danish dad and Austrian mum being ski enthusiasts, it did not take long and he too fell in love with the sport. The following years he and his mom spent over 100 days a year on and off-piste in the Arlberg region. After starting to race regularly at the age of 9, he eventually went to the Skigymnasium Stams at age 14, where he graduated in 2015.

After 4 years on the Austrian national team, which were heavily influenced by two severe knee injuries, Christian already spent a year with Global Racing and fought his way back on the Austrian team. Another 3 years on the Austrian national team yielded 11 World Cup starts, an 18th place in the World Cup GS of Adelboden in 2021, as well as two national titles in GS and SG in 2020.

However, during spring 2022 Christian decided to switch his national allegiance to Denmark, his other nationality and joined Global Racing once again. The first season in new colours has been turbulent for Christian, but he can build on a number of successful races especially towards the end of the season and is fully motivated and in a good position for the upcoming season.

Next to his ski racing pursuits, Christian has completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration as well as a Master's degree in Corporate Governance & Finance at the MCI in Innsbruck.
