Benedikt Staubitzer

“Being part of a passionate team and having this great spirit gives me the opportunity to improve my skiing and reach for goals I never thought were possible.”

Born: 12/5/1990

Nationality: German

Hometown: Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Background: I started skiing at the age of 2, my parents were Skiing addicted and so it was just a matter of time I’d become too. At the age of 7 I started ski racing and figured out I was going to become a ski racer. At the age of 15 I joined the German Ski Team and skiing became my passion, my lifestyle and life focus. After struggling in the European Cup for 6 years I made a break through and made 3 Top 15 results in the World Cup. Unfortunately in 2016 I got injured two years in a row, after my comeback season in 2018 I was kicked out of the Team.

Achievements:

 - 12th World Cup Sölden
 - 11th World Cup Hinterstoder
 - 15th World Cup Garmisch
 - 1st European Cup Zuoz
 - 2nd European Cup La Molina
