Background: Living in one of Austria's best ski resorts it was a matter of fact that Magnus started skiing in his early days. The coaches of the Ski Club Arlberg took him skiing on and off-piste a lot and have a large part in his skiing technique you see today. While attending the Ski-Tourism-College in Bad Hofgastein, Magnus became member of the Austrian Ski Team in 2011. In 2017 Magnus sustained a shoulder injury which led to a less than satisfactory season and after 6 years with the Austrian National Team he was let go and became part of the Global Racing Team.

- 2016 - Winner Far-East-Cup-GS Nozawa Onsen
- 2017 - Silver Medal Austrian Championship GS
           - Winner Inter. Slovenian Championship GS
